Pitney Bowes FD40
The model FD 40 is a mid-volume stand-alone folder. The folder control panel has a microprocessor-controlled user interface with an LCD display. Through the control panel, a user may setup and save up to 10 jobs for easy retrieval. The folder has an automatic paper thickness detection eliminating any manual settings, touch paper and fold selection, and batch count ability. In addition, system diagnostics are available to the operator.

Similar to Model FD 330 but model 370 give you the ability to to memorize up to six different types of folding jobs and three types of paper lengths. Virtually all jobs set up can be run at the touch of a button.

Crisp and accurate folds are easily produced with model FD 330. The FD 330 offers an easy to load (non fanning of material) system. Manual set up for folds is required but this is a easy to use folder.

Pitney's basic folder design that has a long track record. Model 1861 is the older version of model 1863. Both have manual settings for fold type and each model has to have material fanned before placing it into the feeding tray. These "dial-a-fold" folders are still a standard in medium to large mail rooms.
